How you drive and maintain your vehicle can either save or break your car’s fuel consumption and gasoline expenses. Consider good driving and maintenance habits, that can literally shave a good percentage off your gasoline costs, and provide savings that is worth weeks of groceries or other needs for you and your family.
Driving Tips
Lower Your Speed. Gasoline mileage normally goes down quickly for anything above 60 mph. An additional five miles per hour above 60 mph, means paying 20 cents more per gallon of gasoline.
Be sensible when you drive. Do not speed, engage fast and sudden acceleration or even fast and sudden braking. Drive with care and you will be able to save 5% or up to 30 gallons of gasoline.
No idling. Do not leave car idling while waiting for children to buy food and drinks at the kiosk, as idling produce 0 mpg. Especially Big engine capacity car, it stands to waste more gasoline while idling, as compared to smaller engine capacity car.
Do not leave the air-conditioning on at “Maximum”. Turning the air conditioner on at “Full Blast” will guarantee lower mpg by 5-25 %.
Do not place items on your car’s roof as it produces more “Drag”. Reduce aerodynamic drag of car by locating items inside the trunk of car, instead of placing them on top of car’s roof. This can dramatically improve fuel economy and gain gasoline mileage by 5%.

Maintenance Tips
Maintain proper tires pressure can possibly increase car’s gasoline mileage by around 3%, saving up to 20 gallons of gasoline.
Consistently Change clogged air filters. Make it a habit of routinely change dirty air filter, guarantee will help put a stop to impurities clogging inside the engine.
Choose the Correct Engine Oil. Giving car the correct grade of engine oil per car manufacturer’s recommendation, will surely enhance car’s engine performance. 5 Salient water as fuel Checklist
Prior to purchasing a water fuel cell conversion kit and installing it, always consult this checklist :
Cost of the kit. The price varies. The kit can cost from ($60-$150) for a cheap alternative to ($2,000+) for a good quality set. Is it neccesary to buy a good kit if a reasonable good set can do the job ?
Technical knowhow. Are you able to troubleshoot or get hold of someone more technically inclined to assist you with the occasional repair & maintenance ?
Guinea Pig. Prior to implementing this system on any of your regular car,always try it out with your older car.
Maintenance. Are you prepared to do the minimum of ensuring that the water tank is full and carry out any other minor maintenance ?
DIY. Are you a strong DIYer and be prepared to soil and dirty your hands ?
